Digital Repository

Welcome to the University of Melbourne Library Digital Repository

The Digital Repository provides a wide range of digital resources, from individual objects of a short term nature that are required for course delivery to large collections of objects that are of cultural or scholarly significance and need to be kept on a long term basis. The Digital Repository manages objects according to defined access rights and also addresses copyright and licensing requirements. The Digital Repository can be searched directly through the native interface or via the library's SuperSearch.

Authenticated Users

Logging in as an authenticated user (by entering your University email username and password) allows you to access all available digital objects. Please take advantage of the online help (top right of every repository page) to familiarise yourself with services offered.

Guests

You can use the Digital Repository as a guest, but with very limited functionality. A guest's access rights are generally less than those of an authenticated user. Guests cannot save information beyond when a session ends, and can only access objects or collections that are designated as open access. All restricted access materials are not viewable by guests.
